You know as we grow older some say that we grow wiser. I agree but sometimes it's not always the case. Age may mean wiser in life experience or working credentials but what about spiritualy. I began to read through Titus recently and the more I read it the more I think God how could Titus carry out what Paul had sent him to do throughout the region. It's because Titus followed the examples laid out by Timothy about being an elder. Titus lived out what he preached. He was a man of the word a man of prayer a man not afraid to set order where there was disorder. We too as Christ ones must set an order in our lives for prayer and the reading of God's word. I decided I want to keep a clean and pure heart always before God. Psalm 51 has become my nightime prayer before I sleep. I challenge you to join in in keeping Gods word deeply rooted in our hearts and always His praises on the tips of our tongue. Blessings Gareth |
