Story Behind "I'm Alright Now"

About two months ago, I was playing on the piano and kept coming up with a melody but not words. For a few weeks I just kept playing the chords and developing what I was hearing from the Lord. About a month ago, a pastor I am familiar with only via the internet had to walk through the fire of having his 19 yr old son go on to be with Jesus via a car accident. While interceeding for him late one night (actually around 2:00a.m.) the words finally came. I was so moved, personally, that I woke my pregnant wife up at that early hour to sing it to her - which I couldn't due to crying so hard! This communication from the Lord has been encouraging many who have walked on that path that is in such close proximity to "death" that it's shadow is felt - Psalm 23. |
